gonna try one of these next week for the first time, and noticed the stock hooks seem pretty small

anyone else change these to a bigger hook or do you think it will be ok?

i was thinking of just replacing one, maybe the front..

thanks!

No need. I haven't done anything with the hooks. They hook up great. Caught a ton of fish on them. Make sure you use a wire leader with them- They action is better and the fish inhale them and have 1" of leader in their mouth often.

So is there a high mortality rate with them?

No Never had any issues with that. Fish usually hit it in the head and have some of leader and front half of bait in their mouth.
