Hey all,

I'm going to be staying at witch bay camp on Lake of the Woods this August, and I am curious what lake chip is most recommended for the area. I have Lowrance hds units FYI. Thanks in advance!

Howdy,

I am a frequent visitor to WBC and can tell you that the ONLY chip available that covers that part of lake of the woods is the Navionics chip.

While the Lakemaster chip is great, it DOES NOT cover the areas in and around Witch, Andrews and nearby areas.

People come to camp every year, usually with Humminbirds, only to discover the Lakemaster chip has no coverage for that portion of LOTW.

Take care,

Ruddiger

Correct, but you can still overlay AutoChart live data on top of Navionics data...that’s the best option going because Navionics data up there is offset 50’-100’ and is quite mis-leading when trying to fish non-visible structure
