I purchased a Record (before they were called abu) Ambassaduer 5000 today. I looked it up only and it said the only year with the grey star drag was in 1953. Does anyone know anything about these reels? Are they worth anything?

I've still got my dad's old Record spinning reel, with the 1/2 size bail. Dunno what it's worth on the market, but knowing it was in his hands for so long keeps it priceless! m
