O rings for jerk bait leaders seem expensive and their always sold out during the season.
Has anybody found a supply source alternative like from a hardware store or some other manufacturing process or application.
Don't want to use swivel or split rings.

Happy,

Have you ever tried tying your leader to main line using a Sebile knot? Also sometimes called an FG or GT knot. I’ve been using them the past few seasons with no problems. No extra hardware weight on your line either. On the other end I tie a tarpon loop knot and add a Staylok snap. If I need a swivel like for buck tail use, I add the swivel to the loop end and snap on the Staylok. Both knots are easy to tie. I figure if this rig will hold 200 lb tarpon, it will be fine for any musky that swims. Give it a try. Good luck! TC
