| Hi all. I'm considering taking a trip to Lake Minocqua but I have never been there. Is it more of an action lake or trophy lake? What type of structure does it have in it? Is it worth taking a trip there or would the time be better spent on other lakes in the area? |

Location: Wisconsin | Lake Minocqua is not going to be a numbers lake. It may also be a bit difficult to fish in the summer months on the weekends due to heavy recreational boat traffic. There are big fish in the lake but if I were making a trip to the northwoods, I would look at some other lakes in my opinion |

| Plenty of nice fish in there. Plan to Fish a bit deeper with rubber. I’ve caught Fish mid-day while getting run over by skiers. Yes heavy recreation traffic but Fish are there and still have to eat-don’t be afraid of this water whatsoever |

Agree! In fact, pretty much all of WI is recreational water. Best to bypass it in route to MN or Canada where all the big fish are. Nothing to see here, just move along.... |
