| All depends but, general speeds are 3 to 4 maybe 4.5 | |||

| For 1 cover more water and use different baits at one time. Cover different zones of the water column to find active fish. Edited by muskyhunter07 4/16/2018 10:28 AM | |||

Posts: 106 | For Muskies I troll anywhere from2 to about 7 mph. 7 is about as fast as you can go without the boat trying to plane. | ||

First time I tried fast trolling was ~30 years ago with baby depth raiders, caught mostly walleyes. I don't troll that fast too often. Usually 3-5mph. If you are getting shot hits, try going faster. | ||
