| Anyone ever just replaced just the shaft on a terrova? I've been told you have to buy the whole assembly with the motor for about $900 Canadian, I can buy the shaft for about $150, sure would be nice just to replace the shaft |

Location: Hayward, WI | Never done it but heard you can replace just the shaft. I think you have to carefully heat up the top of the motor housing where the shaft inserts. I'm assuming just enough to soften the epoxy in it. Removing the shaft from the plastic head would be easy. |

I'd try for warranty repair anyway. My friend drilled a stump on 10. Broke the shaft in half. The nearest ASC replaced it under warranty. Just be truthful with them.
The shaft is only available with the motor housing already attached. Wanted to swap out my 45" for a 60". Had to replace it as a unit. |
