Hey all, I'm FINALLY upgrading electronics on my boat this year. My question is, those of you with a Fish Hawk, where are you mounting your locator on the console? Trying to see if I can do a 7 or 9" locator and where to mount so it's not in the way of everything.
Pics of your set up would be awesome!

Thanks!

I just run a ram mount to get it above the steering wheel. Never really had any problems.

joel.. i ran an hds8 on a ram mount on my old 1850 at the top of the dash. use a good backing plate underneath to mount the ball portion to dash. no problems with this set up. i don't have any pics for ya. contact ryan mcmahon maybe. he bought boat from me a few years back. chris

That sounds good Chris. Hoping to only have this for one more season, but need to upgrade the electronics or I'm going to go nuts.

Heavy duty Ram mount screwed to the top of the gunnel next to your dash.

Check Cisco fishing systems. They make several mounts that would work for you

I have a mount on either side of my gauge panel. Use a ram if you want anything bigger than a 5" screen. I use one side for depth and the other for a map.

I run a helix 9 off a RAM mount to the right of the gauges. Haven't had any issues. Could probably fit a 10 in there just fine.

It's the same size.
