| For me its my daughters 3rd birthday on Saturday. So my day will be full of cakes, cookies, screaming kids and crazy inlaws.
My daughter wants many things not muskie related. I dont get it, where did I go wrong.[:blackeye:]
What does Barbie have to do with muskie fishing. There is no "Muskie Barbie", trust me I looked. You would think a child of mine would want a Suick or a Reef Hawg. I just dont understand kids now days.
Oh well, hope to pound some water on Sunday.

Take an old camo handkerchief + cut out a little halter top + make a little cut off jean bottom.....rub some mud in her hair + knock out 2 or 3 of her teeth + WAAAL-LLAAA!!!--->Muskie Barbie! I did that to Sponge Babe + man oh man......can't stay away from her!!! I'll send a pic. after she gets out of re-hab....anyway I get off at 1:00 Sat. + will go to little Sponges halloween party at school for 2 hrs.....it will be cold but it was 85 today w/ winds picking up tonight + dropping temps 30-40 degrees lower for a few days....BITE!!![:sun:] |

| Looks like I'll have to pack the long johns, stocking cap, and a little flask of blackberry brandy to stay warm on the water this weekend. Looks like it's going to be one cold son-of-a-witch this coming weekend. We're going to give Big Lake near Manitowish Waters a try. Hopefully, the fish will be on the prowl and we can hook up with a nice fall fattie. I imagine they're be some snow on the ground and in the boat. It's weekends like that I love the most....Freeze them until they drop. |

| I WAS going back up to Vilas, but after seeing the weather forecast, I`m going bow-hunting instead. Next weeks full moon will find me back up there instead. Seems a certain deer-slayer has some time off too, so it looks like we`ll be "hooking" up again for a while.

Saturday is my nephews first go-cart race. The kid has some talent. My bro took him and rented a cart and he won every race he was in. He's 12 and he was putting moves on 15 year olds that would make Robert Yates proud. If time permits I may hit shabbona or sule.
Sunday I will be pounding water probably silver lake.[:)]
Zach, you have some other lakes that are a bit farther but have areas that can get you out of the wind.[:bigsmile:] |

| Well...I have to admit, I am jealous of all of you who will be continuing through November for the big ones.
I on the other hand will be finishing up the storage portion of my rig. Venison time is the following weekend in MN and there is no way I will miss out there...then, Wisconsin opens, so November is Shot (No pun inteneded)

| I won't be able to get out on Saturday (work sure sucks) but will be on Deer or Bone on Sunday for sure. Made it to Deer on Tuesday eve. saw a couple and partner lost one. I hope to keep on with the toothie critters until Thanksgiving if we are lucky.
