I have a TON of this x-wrap. I do not have it on my site but if anyone wants some I am happy to sell it to you guys. I paid $0.27/inch for my 35mm dia stuff. Happy to sell it for $0.35/inch plus shipping if you guys want any. Let me know happy to help out. Shipping is probably $3 to ship 20" of this stuff... [email protected]

i also put this on for FREE for any rods I sell if you want it. Also goes for any rods sold thru my online/retailers too. nice protection and it feels good on the rod.

I have found X wrap is a perfect fit for people that do not like syncork in the middle of the rear handle during the summer. X wrap allows them the opportunity to cover syncork during the warm months and take it off during the fall. A win-win in my book.

Does one cut and heat this like a shrink wrap application or how do apply it?

Would this work on an aluminum net handle? We get a little excited when we catch a Muskie and sometimes forget not to rest the handle on the rail and it has left a few scratches.

That would be an awesome application. It shrinks on snug. For a smooth aluminum handle without any contour for the X Wrap to hug into, i would shrink it down, and hockey tape both ends just a little bit. Youd have a neat handle...

Or put hockey tape down first then shrink tube over that.
