Location: Eagle River, Alaska | Thought you might enjoy this little tidbit from the editorial column of the Outdoors section here in Anchorage, Alaska. These Brit "scientists" and I definitely use the term loosely, are the same who have been backing PETA stuff for quite a while. Mr Medred's take on the whole thing is quite amusing. Here's the link:

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Hey Doc, good to hear from you. Yup, fish are VERY intelligent. Especially muskies. That is why one can catch them on a piece of wire, a bunch of beads, a brass or stainless body, a nice natural spinning blade (ever see ANYTHING do that in the water naturally?) and a pretty good portion of a deer's rear end. In nice natural colors, too, like Firetiger or Clown, or maybe Bumblebee. Bass are even smarter. I think one could catch bass on a can opener. We won't even discuss Pike. |

| Anyone know if that photo is available as a poster I can buy? It certainly will make my office wall. Mark |
