Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hi Everone,
Finally going to get some rod sleeves for my rods, but being that I will be using them when the reels attached, I want to get sleeves that are just the length of the rod up to the reel. Unfortunately, my rods are stored away from me so I don't have them here to measure. So..I'm hoping someone can help me out a bit with some measurements from tip to reel on the rods listed below:
St. Croix "Sling Blade":
St. Croix "Big Nasty":
St. Croix "The Jerk":
Also looking for suggestions on brands as well.
Thanks for any assistance you may be able to supply

| St croixs website has the handle lengths for each model. Youd just have to work backwards to figure out the length from tip to reel seat. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Stick jacket big game 7’s for anything 8’6” and up. Big game 6 for 8 ft. The sleeves are 7’ and 6’ respectively. |

| Get a hold of James from Tackle Industries and he can hook you up with the right ones.

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hi again,
For the sleeves, do they flex over the guides pretty easy with the two brands mentioned or do they get really tight as you get closer to the handle?
Thanks!! |

Location: Perrysburg Ohio | I can make them whatever diameter or length you need. I make one for every rod I build so it's not a problem.
I usually make them to fut up to the reel and I prefer to keep them loose so as to not put extra friction on the guides. |

stick jackets flex a lot. I roll them up for storage over my fist. |
