Teck,

Can I get Hot Spot maps for Cass Lake, MN/IL Lakes and IN lakes for the 1600?

Are they easy to install?

Thanks

no the unit dose not have enough memory. Navionics makes E_CHARTS that you can buy and lode . http://www.lowrance.com/Mapping/NavSplit/splitcharts.asp#UNITED+STA...

With the Mapping CD you can buid a map on your computer and load it to the GPS just an outline of the lake.

Teck, does this unit have a slot for the XL Map chips that Navionics sells, or do they have to be loaded from the PC? thanks

Hi Teck,
This will piss off my buddy PK, bring that GPS along to Sab Bay, I might just buy it out from under him. Serves him right for blowing you off at the boat ramp...

PK I am fishing all alone in a 14ft rowboat at Cass you leaker.

I'll probably have $150 in cash or check handy, I figure you already have Sab Bay loaded?

Thanks,
Papa Joe

Nice try Papa but it's already mounted to my boat. Now I see your true colors.....

I didn't blow him off, we had the weekends mixed up....

I'm going to try to get up to Cass for that weekend, we'll see.

Hey Jason,
When are you back in MPLS? I need a local pal to fish with again, Treats is all "I have a kid" and "I'm out with clients" and "Meet me at 6AM" lately, so I haven't even seen his new boat, except for pictures...

BTW did you decide on a new boat yet, or do you still have the aluminum one?

Later,
papa

Shady, There'll be no getting it on for me, PJ is not my type.

PJ, I may be towing my boat up next weekend when I come up for a second interview for a job. Man I hope I get the job and can move home. How'd you do at Sab?
