I was wondering what people thought about ordering new reels from Amazon? The price of a Beast 50 is $199, basically half price on what it is on Abu Garcia's website. Is it actually the same thing because it almost seems to good to be true. Also, the Revo Toro S is over $50 cheaper on Amazon as well. I don't know if I am just overreacting or if it really is that price.

Are you sure it's new and actually from Amazon,,or a "other sellers" classification. Because amazon does use other sellers who sell and list used products on their site.

The beast says sold and shipped from Allbright Kitchenware and the Toro S says sold and shipped by Amazon.com

I have bought several Toro S's from Amazon with no issues at all. They were sold by either Abu or Amazon.

I’ve never had a reel with a power handle on it. Are they worth it? Or is it better to just stick with the normal handle I have always been used too.

I tried to buy an Abu reel on Amazon. It was listed used, like new. Listed as being Amazon Warehouse. Sent a completely different model. Returned it with no issues. Probably will try again, as I see another one listed as new with damaged package. For almost half price, it could be worth it, as long as I can return it if they send the wrong reel again.

I use amazon all the time. Best place for a deal and have never had an issue.
