While holding my tatula sv I noticed a sound inside of it when I shook it and sounded like something loose. Took the side plate off and still made the sound, removed the spool and this little black piece broke in two pops out. What piece is this? Is it important?

Not sure what it is, but yes, parts inside the reel are important. Do you have the box and schematics? I’d refer to that and call Daiwa for a replacement part or send it in to be fixed.

Found out that there’s a plastic piece inside with two prongs coming off that broke. Taking it to Thorne bros tommorow to get fixed
