| The last stop for the WMT in the eastern region was at the Eagle River Chain. The tournament would be very productive for the competing anglers, scoring on thirty legal muskies for the weekend of September 6-7. The anglers were fishing for more than $30,000 in cash and prizes, along with a $30,000 Ranger boat from Heckel's Eagle River Marina.
The tournament paid down 10 places:
1st: Pete Hilman and Phil Scheik, both of Mosinee
2nd: John Doyen and Cody Whitehead, both of Phelps
3rd: Deron Shymkewich, St. Charles, IL. and Craig Freund, Algonquin, IL
4th: Doug Steiner and Jim Rutkowski, both of Eagle River
5th: Wayne Stewart, Milwaukee and Dave Stewart, Slinger
6th: Dave Doyen, Pulaski and Steve Doyen, Phelps
7th: Dan Dassow, Medford and Scott Lewandowski, Athens
8th: Gary and Linda Jacobs, both of Lomira
9th: Roger Kieliszewski and Pete Skibba, both of Stevens Point
10th: Martin Studenec and William Joers, both of Milwaukee
