| So this spring will be my second year hunting tiger Muskie. I am hooked, I have 7 lakes in my state that are stocked with tigers and try and fish every weekend. I have started putting some money into my Muskie gear and am wondering what setups you guys use. If you had only three setups, what would they be? |

Location: SE, WI. | Back in the day, when our local lakes had many tigers, I used to rip creatures threw weeds , mid summers. Caught 2-4 tigers in about 4-5 hours ripping creatures. Fandango's were my favorite, or a lizard, With a fandango style tail. Once in a while, a paddle tail produced, but the sleeker style plastics slid through the thick stuff better. Used a fairly stiff jerk bait rod with 20lb mono, and wire leader of around 16". Mostly A swimmer jig,3/4 - 1 oz head, but a stand up head also worked. Super braids were not available at that time. Location: SE Wisc | I’m assuming you throw average size to smaller Muskie lures since you just got started, so these 3 rods would get you by unless you’re throwing heavy stuff. All St Croix premier...

76h twitch baits/ glidebaits/ jerk
86h or 8h your heavier baits depending on your style, I’d go 86

| These are my only 3 setups. I get by fine with only 3.
TI 9' telescopic XH - double 10's, topwater (reel is Toro S 61)
TI 9' telescopic XXH - double 8's, 9's, rubber up to 14oz (reel is Beast 61 HS)
St Croix Mojo Musky 7'6'' H - suicks, hellhounds, small topwater and bucktails (reel is Quantum Iron 301 HS) |

Location: oswego, il | You're setups are determined by how you will be fishing and with what. Setups in minnesota will not be the same as kentucky for example. |

| I like the Bass Swimbait rods for Tigers
Get the longest and lightest rods you can afford
Swimbait rods typically have two actions a MH and H get one of each
Pair them up with a 300 size reels
3rd rod would be a trolling rod with a counter reel
