My Muskie adventure buddy and I are talking about doing a new to us trip this year. A local walleye nut suggested to me the French river so I started doing some research on the area. So far we like the look of bears den lodge, and totem point.
We are on the water a lot during our trips so food and housekeeping is not high on our priority list. we definitely want to hire a guide for a day to learn the new water as quickly as possible. So the question is can anyone recommend a guide to go with each lodge? Also any input on up the river, as to down the river preference? We are planning on going the week before Labor Day also if that changes any advice?
