Location: Blaine, MN | I have the Simms "Challenger" suit... It's nice to go home after a windy, rainy day DRY. kept me completely comfortable, and saved a couple days on LOTW for me this year... had heard reviews of some people experiencing the zippers leaking. I never had an issue with it. I have a lot of confidence in my challenger suit. Thought briefly about the Pro-Dry, but a mortgage payment (small house) on rain gear eliminated that one!! Can find some closeouts on the interweb to save some $$$ |

Location: midwest | Season 5 or 6 on a Pro Dry suit...still keeps me dry as day 1. Can't speak for the challenger suit durability as it isn't goretex but should still be constructed well based on it being a Simms product. |

| I have had the Pro Dry suit for 3 years. Worn it in all kind of crap and it has always kept me dry. Worth the $$$. |

| I've had my original Simm's Guide Jacket since they first came out. That makes it over 20 years old I believe. It gets worn about 30 days a year and I've never had an issue. It's survived a total of six weeks in Alaska fishing for giant pike and most of that time it was never off of me while on the water. I just got back from a week of steelheading in Michigan and it was on the whole time as it rained all but the last day. Simms' stuff is very pricey, but is well worth the price if you need it often and you're willing to take care of it. |

| 4th Season using the Simms ProDry and always dry. Have fished in some very wet conditions and use it off the water all the time. It's well worth the investment! |

Location: Blaine, MN | the challenger series offers a small amount of warmth because it keeps the wind and rain off of ya, but doesn't possess much of anything in the way of insulation. |

Location: midwest | Challenger and pro dry have no insulation value. It's a rain suit made to keep you dry. Correct layering underneath keeps you warm. If you want a warm waterproof coat look at the Simms Bulkley Jacket. It has primoloft insulation and is a pretty warm coat. This is what I wear steelhead fishing in the winter months around the great lakes. |

| The pro dry has been worth every penny since I've owned it in 2012 and have put it to the test. Never ever been wet, period. |

Location: SE Wisc | I just pulled the trigger on the pro dry suit. Will have to wait til next year for my official review but I love the fit and is so much lighter than my old Cabela’s guidewear suit that I am retiring to ice fishing gear. I was also looking into Gill or the Simms contender suits but since my last suit lasted me so long I figured go with what I Really want and that was the Prodry. I don’t believe there’s a lighter goretex suit on the market that’s made for fishing, which makes all the difference in the summertime heat. Just leave some room for fall layering and you’re good to go! |
