| Have any of you used or looked at Sea Deck instead of carpeting? I know some boats are going OEM with it now and it tends to be more of an In shore or saltwater thing, but wondering your thoughts? Or similar type of products?

Location: 31 | The FS fisherman series Rangers have nonskid rubber flooring that's growing on me, and will probably prefer it over carpet in the long run… especially when it's wet. I've had to re-glue some of the edges/corners already and can see this as a little bit of an issue moving forward. I've been doing some rigging in the new boat and can tell you that it's hard on the knees/elbows and not nearly as comfortable to roll around as carpet, same deal with kneeling to get into compartments... but in the long run I think it's going to be more functional than carpet. |

Location: Northern Wisconsin | I have hydro turf in my boat and prefer it over carpet. Easy to clean, dries fast, and comfortable. |

| Did it come with the adhesive or did you have to supply it? |

Location: Northern Wisconsin | I used 3m 90 spray. It was pretty easy. Cleaned surface with acetone and followed installation instructions I found online. I used the B stock sheets and saved a ton of money. Did my whole boat for under $250 including all the adhesive. |

| I have a deck boat that I had to do a deck repair on. Instead of trying to match the nonskid I used tuff- coat. I rented a popcorn drywall spray machine to spray it on. It was pretty easy and came out well. Held up for 2 years now. |

| So are any of you good with design? Sea Deck sent me this array of colors for their material that I want to use for the flooring and I'd love to give my boat a little color splash. Maybe not just the gray color the carpet had before, but a gray and a black or a red with the gray or black. Maybe an outline, maybe the base deck one color and the bunks or walls of the bunks another. I'm not sure, but open to making it pop a little.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, or photos would help as well. I figure if I'm going to do it I should really do it right.

| I think they have some cool camo patterns if not check out ocean grip, may save you some money and it's good stuff |
