What are the thoughts on these compared to the regular one? The pro series has a jointed harness .

It's essentially just another tool... I prefer the regular mags for what I fish because I can get them to glide better, and not run as deep. The Pro Series tend to run a bit deeper because it noses down with the harness.

Hmmm i read from a few people they tend to "roll" a lot and aren't good on the retrieve. I picked up two of them on sale and forgot about the different harness.

They're both great baits. Pro Dawgs are very consistent runners. I do like the ability of tuning the regular ones to have that roll. I always carry a torch in your boat for quick repairs. The real good ones that get chewed need care. I personally like the deep ones with a roll.

i don't like when i can't bent the internal harness,so i have no place for them in my tacklebox .i have no advantage at all to use them over the normal one
