Posts: 332 Location: Michigan | Musky_Mo16 - 2/19/2017 11:02 PM I agree that's one slick grip. I also prefer the cork look and have never had problems. Anyone know what the difference between full wells and half wells? Thanks. The picture 25homes posted is a half wells. The one in mine is full wells.

Posts: 833 | The super light guides really are a difference maker. I have a Predator H with 2" off the tip at 9' with Titanium Oxide guides and a 400D. It weighs about as much as a heavy bass set up, but will throw everything up to a mag dawg. I have all Syn Cork on all 7 of my customs. Wouldn't hesitate to buy it on #8. Much better grip than the regular cork.

Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I had somebody PM me about the 2" off the top thing and I was curious how well it will handle small buck tails after that. I believe the smallest i throw is a juice mini. I'm not necessarily looking for a large bait rod.

I throw ghosttails 100 series and dreamcatcher mini's ( both smaller/lighter than a juice mini ) and it does a great job.

Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | Sorry to bring this up again but I ordered my rod today and sent a pick of the fore grip like the one I posted above. Like I said, I've seen it in syncork quite a bit, but I was hoping to get a better pic to send Lonnie at thorne, so if anyone has this style of fore grip in either reg cork or syncork I would appreciate if you could post a pic and also include the length of it if you know it. Thanks. Attachments ---------------- image.jpg (6KB - 432 downloads)

Posts: 23 | What color are the blanks? Their website says blue but black is the only color I've saw.

Posts: 332 Location: Michigan | They are more of a dark grey with flecks. Very nice looking in my opinion.

Posts: 908 Location: South-Central PA | Here's a picture. Dark grey pearl is how I'd describe it. Jeremy Attachments ---------------- IMG_347.jpg (125KB - 413 downloads)
