Posts: 504 Location: Ludington, MI | First, I'd only pencil it in because it's so far out and they always screw up the timing, but I'd say Saturday. Now, if it's arriving at 1 a.m. Saturday, I'd go Friday.

Posts: 57 | Thursday. The lakes have had time to cool off from the weekend pressure and you won't have to deal with all weekend warriors that'll be out Saturday

Posts: 3480 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | I'd be picking Saturday, getting out there before any weather moves in. Second pick would be Sunday as with the weather moving through and water temps already on a steady cool down around MN, the fish might still be moving well... Steve

Posts: 8782 | Friday could be really good after 4 days of relatively stable weather. Depending on the timing of the front, Saturday could be a winner as well, and maybe into Sunday. I'd have to pick Saturday and spend Friday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning wondering if I was missing all the action.

Posts: 815 Location: Waukee, IA | Sunday, I catch more fish the day of a cold front than the days before or after. Sustained sunny and warm weather tends to be a kiss of death late in the summer and into fall. Just my observations

This morning was excellent. 4 fish in 20 minutes ( 1 being a ski) casting in a 270 degree radius. Then off to work.

Posts: 612 | Not sure about Tyler, but I can get similar detailed forecast from Underground Weather. I pay the $10.00 to weed out the advertisement's. Unless you have a slip I wouldn't go on Friday. Looks like a possible washout. I have to drive 40 minutes to launch, so a quick in and out isn't worth the trouble. However Thursday and Saturday may have a pit more promise (unless that rain-thunderstorm prediction changes). Generally I go out when I can "weather permitting", if nothing else I just like to be on the water. Edited by NPike 9/13/2017 6:02 PM
