Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Ok gang now I'm really Jone'sing. Cornbread & Mauser were spotted in Mauston WI this AM enroute to the MF Sabaskong trip. Talk about hardcore- According to Mauser they're pre-fishing their way up to Canada. Mauser got a 34.5" on Pewaukee last night. I believe their next target is in the Cass Lake MN area. But I had no time to warn the local authority's. The boys are pumped!!!! I dutifully passed the sacred "cellar dust" to Cornbread, for delivery to Shep so that he can properly prepared the Sacred Feast of Sacrafice. I have also outfitted same Cornbread & Mauser with secret charms to enchant those Sabaskong fish and enhance their muskie fishing experience. If you happen to encounter this dynamic duo please give us an update here on MF. Al Warner http://www.zaltnad.com |

As they passed through Eau Claire there were people standing on the overpasses holding signs and waving American Flags. The masses were out cheering on the dynamic duo as they make their way to "Shadytown"... A fair breasted damsel even tossed a purple Jerry Bear off the bridge into their vehicle for good luck... If you pass through Eau Claire on I94...pay no attention to the bedsheet that hands from the Exit 72 overpass that says, "Cornbread Rocks".....
Travel safe boys....we'll see ya in tomorrow morning. |

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I last witnessed them leaving Pewaukee happy as two hillbillys at a family reunion.
Good luck boys in your quest for the mighty muskie. One fish boated on their first day of the trip. Good luck on the rest of your outing, may they just keep getting bigger for you.
I think a 50-incher is waiting for you. Go get em !!!
