In my experience you're better off at Big Detroit or Mantrap

We thought about going last year. Made some calls and it was basically booked out and has been getting hit hard ever since Keyes went out there. We opted for Wabedo/Little Boy in Longville and had an amazing time.

I read that Mantrap's fish population is low compared to years past. There are some fish in there, but not what there used to be. Would any of you agree or disagree with that?

I haven't had a chance to get up there in the last couple years. But from what I've heard from other anglers, I would disagree.

I fished Many Points 2 years ago for about 4 hours. No chasers.

Did have one hammer it up shallow throwing onto the beach by the boy scout camp. Didn't get hooks into it though.

I haven't been on Mantrap yet this year, but have fished it at least a couple times per year for the last 20 years. I have not noticed a decline. In fact, I caught my largest out of their to date 2 years ago. 49" fishing solo.

I have fished Mantrap a lot more than a couple times a year for over ten years and I have noticed a significant decline in my opinion. Thankfully we got the 54 min going as the catch and kill mentality is strong in that area.
