Does anyone know if the water has cleared at all in Inde? Also, have any weeds started to grow back after being sprayed this year? It has been several weeks since I have fished it and need to get out there again.

I assume you are talking about Webster? Weeds have grown back just not the kind you want. The only weed in the whole lake other then some patchy millfoil is a long stringy grass thats a real pain in the arse!

I'll second the stringy weeds comment. Webster is also afflicted with filamentous algae, covering the bottom in some locations in thick mats. Watch to make sure your motor is getting enough water for cooling.

I hope the lake owner's association/ DNR is happy with the results.

All we need now is abot 2 ton of copper sulfate to get rid of the algae....

Thankfully, there are other musky lakes to fish in the midwest besides Webster

I'm sure the lake owners are quite happy little johny who likes to bonk little muskies also no longer has to fall off his ski/tube into those nasty weeds. All that's left now to accomplish their grand plan is to paint he bottom of the lake blue.

I think he means lake independence in Minnesota. I was out there about 2 weeks ago and saw no weeds on the entire lake. Haven't been back since, hopefully they start to come back a little bit.

By the way, saw no fish either.

MuskyTom I haven't had much luck anywhere in the metro lately. I primarily fish waconia, but go to minnetonka and independence as well and all have been slow as of late. I will post next time I get out. I will be heading up to the little falls area in about 2 weeks so I will let you know how things go up there. I had my dad scope it out last week. He was out there for about six hours (lake Alexander) no fish we seen. Hopefully things pick up, beautiful lake though!!!

Was out last week. Lots of algae, no weeds. 83 degree surface temps.
