I'm in the market for a new rod and am interested in the 9 ft St Croix premier, particularly in the MH power. However I never seem to hear anything about these. Does anyone here have experience with one? Should I be concerned about a 2 piece rod?I know other brands make great rods but would prefer to stick with St Croix. Thanks

This would actually be replacing an 8 ft mojo. On their website it looks like it's only available in 2 piece but I'll have to check in on that further, thank you

oh wow...do you want a 2 piece? The 13 fishing omen Rod 8'7" is a very impressive rod for the Money I own that Rod and would compare to my $300-400 rods....

I have seen the two piece premier and it's a big old broom stick in my opinion. The premier line is pretty nice except for the two piece line up. If you are willing to spend 200-225 on a premier just buy a used legend tournament as they are definitely nicer and still have a lifetime warranty
