| Use a ziplock bag with water in it and no air bubbles, place the transducer on it to make sure it reads good. once you have a good location epoxy it in. Make sure its a slow cure epoxy.

| I sanded the fiber glass area a bit before I applied epoxy. I filled my boat with enough water to cover transducer and put a bag of sand on top. Then drove around a bit to find best location. It is really pretty simple. |

Location: Northern Illinois | Okay thanks. So I fill boat with water enough to cover transducer then take it out on the water and see best reading area? |

| I kept the transducer in the water so no air would be between the hull and transducer |
