Posts: 32935 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Please scroll down for the full results! The annual Charlie Baker Tournament is underway on the Moen Chain in Rhinelander this morning. Temps are in the low 60's today, with NW winds and some rain as a cool front rolls through. The bite should be good! Stand by for reports. | Live on the chain and seems like more boats than average this year. Hope everyone has a good time and does well. Seems a little off to see the folks wearing jackets and hooded sweat shirts for a tournament at the end of June. | ||||

Posts: 32935 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Reports are the bite was fair today through the weird cold weather and occasional squalls, with 12 fish caught. Keith is fishing the event and had an encounter with a true giant. As he was getting ready to boat a 34" northern, the big muskie T-Boned it and ripped out about 20' of line....and dropped the Pike. No mystery where they will start tomorrow... They did get a shorty, too.
