Posts: 1430 Location: Eastern Ontario | I am very sad at the tought of his passing. I only met Andy some 3 years ago and already know him as a great friend and person. I was just talking to him last week as he took some time between his holidays to call me back on Muskies Inc. matters. He will be missed greatly by all his friend as well as any Muskies Inc members as he has done so much for the sport in and around the three rivers area. I have been told he was the general in charge of the small army that put on the three rivers muskie show, I am sure all will miss him. I can only regret never having the chance of sharing a boat with Andy before his passing. Our prayers and sympaties are with his family and friends, we will miss you big time Andy.

Posts: 246 Location: Jamestown, Pa. | Capt. Larry, I just emailed you as I wasn't sure you had heard yet. We went down for the seminar Yesterday and was told by Tom Dietz that it was cancelled due to Andies unfortunate fate. That is really sad. Like Richard, I only new Andy for about three years and had become friends with him. He was a very outgoing and caring person and really worked hard to help his Chapter get the expo going. We at Durst Products will certainly miss Andy and his smiles. Our heart felt condolences go out to him and his family, They are in our prayers.

Posts: 568 | My heart sank on the news that a fellow muskie chaser drown while on vaction with his family and friends. The same fate barely escaped me in 1993 . I learned a valuable lession that I have shared on the boards before. If you are fishing alone NEVER operate the boat without a life jacket. I was thrown from the boat and had to swim a long distance to shore. I , too, would like to know how this accident occured as to pass it on to other fisherman. Will pray for some relief to the broken hearts in his family. Take care ManitouDan

Our thoughts are with his family. Following is a link to the local newspaper which provides some additional details about this terrible tradegy. http://www.thepeterboroughexaminer.com/webapp/sitepages/content.asp...

Posts: 11 | We are all in alot of shock over Andy's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and especially young Andrew. He was truly one of the good guys, and the heart and soul of Three Rivers. Andy always had a smile and good word, or friendly tease, for everyone. Never truly heard a bad comment about him. I had the pleasure of having spent some time on a trip with him in Canada, and he was a ball to be around. He loved Muskie, Inc.. I remember he called himself the "little man", jokingly. Well, he was an awfully Big Man, in my opinion.......... God Rest You Andy... With Sympathy, Mark K
