Would you like to use the rich-edit box when composing new messages (IE 5.0+ or higher

was cruising through the control panel and updating my profile and came across...what does this mean??

I have it checked as NO, what happens when i select YES??
Does this have something to do with emotes, I currently don't have them to use when I post,

thx much.
