Posts: 114 | I'm very surprised with the lack of photos being submitted to MOF. I have yet to see one from Minnesota submitted. Has it really been that slow for everyone?

Posts: 815 Location: Waukee, IA | I've had a terrible spring season and it's looking like 80° surface temperatures are only a few days away.

Location: Contrarian Island | nope, only mega barfighters! it has been slower than normal for pretty much everyone I know, except a few guys that hit rivers/dams etc... usually guys that talk like they are slamming them aren't fessing up to the hours they are putting in for each catch, or are simply blow hards...easy to figure out who is and who isn't Edited by BNelson 6/8/2017 1:21 PM

Posts: 1141 Location: NorthCentral WI | What I wouldn't pay for one of those barfighters! I heard they're great lures made by a super nice stand up guy. Apparently they are golden compared to the fish approved Suicks I've used for years. HAHA! Yeah right, what a Sweetness. Personally my time on the water is way down this year and I expect will be for the next few years. Having a baby does that. Gave up league this year and have only been out one day, the opening Saturday in Northern WI. Put a 39.5" in the boat on a Manta. I normally do better fishing deeper once the water temps are up anyways. Tight lines to all and good luck this year! Edited by MartinTD 6/8/2017 1:43 PM

I know the feeling, same boat as you The average hours per year on the motor about to really improve after this year... Cool, windy, wet May transitioning into a near instant heat wave is not a recipe for a good early part of the season.... Edited by Musky Brian 6/8/2017 1:48 PM
