Location: Jane Lew, WV | Facebook told me that there is a new length state record in WV. The previously held record of 52.7" fell this past weekend after a fine gentleman caught and released (after DNR certification) a 53.5" momma.

| Cool fish. I think it's awesome that states are doing a c&r record keeping program for these (and other species) fish. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | Congratulations to the angler. If I had to hold on to a fish for 4 hours waiting for a bureaucrat to show up I guess I would not be a record holder. It does thwart would be cheaters.
