Posts: 260 Location: Kentucky | I'm going to get a tattoo and I would like to get one of my favorite fresh water predator, the muskie! I'm looking for pictures to assist the artist in this rendering.I'm not looking for anything that looks like a cartoon or animated. Thanks in advance for your help. If I need to contact an artist for permission, I certainly will! Thanks again- Bret

Posts: 5874 | My nephew has a walleye on the rocks scene, on his shoulder, that is pretty cool, that is if you like tatoo's. I'll see if I can get him to send me a picture of it. Might give you some ideas.

Location: Woodstock, IL | Make sure you find an artist with proven talent. I've seen some awful fish tattoos. I have a lot of ink and I wouldn't take the chance with just anyone (for health and aesthetic reasons).

| Good advice; I torpedoed a 6 pak of Coke Colas one night and decided I'd turn into a blue gill...had me hands tattooed up like fins...ran out of $$$ and that was far as I got...stupid looking for sure, but it did help me swimming! Make sure before you ink up... | |||

Location: Eau Claire,WI | Now this is a subject that I am an expert in....I have 3 muskies tattooed on me,(one on my chest, and the other 2 on my back).I found pictures of muskies on covers of magazines, books, etc, and brought them into the tattoo studio. With todays technology in stencil making and a TALENTED artist,it should look as good if not better than the pic.Make sure your artist likes to do wildlife,or in my case,a muskie fisherman and a very taleneted tattoo artist.Don't go too small or else you will loose detail.Feel free to email me if you need any other info.Hope I have helped.
