Posts: 770 | Hey everybody I just got a used terrova off Craigslist. It has a pilot and I can't get any power to the foot pedal. I plugged it in and unplugged it multiple times and nothing happens. I'm hoping this is operator error but I can't get this thing to do anything any suggestions on where to start?

Posts: 1209 | well there may be a fuse for the pedal, or your pedal is shot. terrovas are pretty simple i couldn't imagine its your fault. if your still at home you need to at least semi deploy the motor off the mount since there is a power cut off while stored. call mk customer service if problem persists.

Posts: 546 Location: MN | So the remote works and operates the motor? Did you look for cuts in the cable or missing pins in the connector?

Posts: 770 | Yes everything looks to be normal and in good shape, the remote does everything it should and no issues other than the pedal

Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | You probaly already tried this but it could be as simple as giving it a light cleaning. I had mine out last year and the foot pedal wouldn't do anything so I just took it apart right there on the water and put it back together (didn't even really clean it) and it worked fine. Mines a very old (early 2000s) and all I did was take as much as I could comfortable apart and put it back.

Posts: 770 | I took it apart quick and it was very clean... i dont think thats the issue. I dont have a test light or voltmeter. I have a buddy who is going to let me borrow his pedal tto see if his will work... im just praying its not the control board. I guess thats what you get when you buy used....
