| Heard there was a couple of heists at the Mille Lacs Tourney this weekend .Apparently Gregg Thomas and his partner lost a bunch of stuff and another angler somehow recovered his. Pretty scary with the cost involved.Keep your eyes peeled on e-bay and maybe these "Carp" will be caught. Steve |

Location: Hastings, mn, 55033 | can someone post what items were taken, so we know what to watch for? i lost all of my maps for MN and WI the beginning of july at mille lacs. it was my own fault and it hurt bad enough. cant imagine the feeling of getting equipment stolen while at a tourney. That just plain SUCKS!!! |

| Really sorry to hear about stuff getting ripped off at an event. Last year, at my place up north, over the 4th of July weekend, some low life ripped off my all purpose tackle box (pliers, cutters, etc.) But, just to show you how stupid this little ja$ ba$ was, I had also left 4 Lakewood boxes in my boat and they were all there.
So, if anyone is at a flea market, possibly in Iowa somewhere and you come across a Plano box with "Musky Mike" engraved on the top, I would buy it, there was some pretty good stuff in it!
Close the hatch, and lock the latch!

Location: Minneapolis, MN | This is the primary reason I ditched those bigass heavy grab and run tackle boxes everyone likes to lug aground. I put all my tackle under cover in my boat by constructing bait hangers inside the compartments. After that I installed a 1 1/2" stainless steel loc-r-bar across all the compartments. I guess they could get in if they wanted to bad enough but I doubt they would bother with so many other boats unprotected. |
