Does anyone know or have a suggestion on how to clean the gunk off of your crankbaits after they lay up against a spinnerbait skirt or another kind of rubber bait?
It seems like the paint on some lures has a chemical reaction.
Thank you in advance. |

You might try acetone. |

| I have used warm-hot water in the sink and just my finger maybe a towel then dry vigerously. Has worked for 80% of my issues without harm. 20% remain ugly and traded to friends. |

| Acetone might work but watch it stripping paint as well...might just try dawn dish soap if that wont take it normally can just use alcohol and it will come off |

Location: Minnesota. | Try Goo-Gone...safer than acetone which is really nasty stuff for most finishes.
FYI - it'll remove pine pitch from your truck w/o taking off the clear-cote or sealer! Ask me how I found out after 20+ yrs. of searching.... |
