Anyone ever fish the black brook flowage near amery? I fished it once when i was a kid, probably 15 years ago. Is it worth trying?

After searching for "New" water to fish near me I found that one on a Wisconsin DNR list - Drove over that way late summer 2 years ago and found a stagnant and very green stretch of the Apple river with a very iffy launch - Never tried it but had my doubts - I've since learned to question other places they list - With budget cuts and what all I'll not cast dispersions - I will caution others to be careful with their time - - - -

I've fished it before the launch sucks its narrow and pretty steap. Gets weed choked in the summer. That being said I've caught a few fish out of there but it takes some work to get um. I fish apple way more because of the better conditions.
