I was in my basement (manland), and I noticed that I have a bunch of Eddie baits that I haven't used in a while. I have a couple that I hacked the leaders off of, but I haven't thrown one in a couple of years. Does that effect the action of the bait if you cut the leader off. I have a couple with them still on, and I would throw with a stiff leader if I cut them off.

I've cut the leaders off of the few Eddies that I own, and they seem to have the same action.

I prefer removing them so pike won't throw them easily. I would at least advise you to add a splitring or a snap to the attachment eye
