I bought one of the live target 10 inch jakes. Used it for the first time yesterday and I noticed pretty quickly that it had a slower rise than my other jakes. Within 30 minutes it was sinking. Has anyone ever had this with a new jake before?

It does happen. They're one of my all time favorite baits. I'm sure they'd replace it. Personally I spray foam all of mine. Never worry about leaks. Another option is you can dry it out for a week. Then drip super glue in the molded eyelets and it will be fine.

How does this work? Spray internally with spray foam? Doesn't alter the performance? Also spray foam isn't really water resistant. Interesting though.

Contact Zach at Drifter tackle he will take care of you- Great Guy
I have one that leaks after someone threw it on a rock... I like it that way and left it--- It runs very deep and I have caught several big fish on it. Its nice in open water and after turnover- I can really get it down.

Yes I drill them and fill them with spray foam. I lean them forward so the weight stays forward. Yes it does give them a little different wobble.

Replacement on the way, can't recommend musky tackle online and drifter tackle enough. Good guys backing up good products.
