hey Bill..fished the Chip on 7-3 thru 7-5 and nailed a pig on the east fork on 7-3 on a chartruce bucktail @ 9am..this fish was over 50"and pushing 40 lbs. there is going to be pics. in the hayward papers and the waukasha freeman. fished the next two days without a follow..but thats fishing on the chip! hope this helps..TIGHT LINES.

Fished the Chip Tuesday 7/22. Got a 34"er on a topwater bait in casting the lilly pads. I saw him come up and take a swipe at it and miss then I sped up my retrieve and he came back and nailed it at boatside. Also had a nice fish try to suck down a creeper but pulled it away from him. Heard the splash at night and set the hook on the splash. Oh well.

Another good site that stays updated is Corey Meyer's site. He reports everytime he gets out. Not to mention his reports are pretty hilarious, but he doesn't leave anything out he tells it like it is.
