A friend recently mentioned the old 6 inch reef hawgs he once had with the fat heads being better than the newer models. What was the diameter of the heads on the older 6 inch model? Do you agree they were better?

Been throwing them since the early eighties and they are the same then as they are today. Never even heard the term "fat head" used with Reef Hawg. I think your friend was hosing you.

Ihave an 8" with a fat head. Yikes!
Not sure if they were ever marketed as fat heads or just were a bit bigger for awhile but i can get a comparison when home.
