I'm thinking of upgrading my boat this winter. Absolutely love my 2010 Lund Predator 1810, but want something a bit bigger, wider beam especially.

I'm kind of liking the Alumacraft Trophy 185. What can those who own or fished out of them ( recent models, last 3 years or so) tell me about pros /cons of the boat.

they're tall boats with lots of freeboard. Probably get blown around in the wind a bunch. If you're primarily a caster I'd look at the less deep options they have. Competitor for example. A little less freeboard but similar size and a better fishing layout IMO.
