Posts: 165 Location: tHe LaKe Of PrIoR, mN | I hope your right! I just went and checked out both the 1825mx and 2040mx just last week the 1825 may be too small and the 2040 on the top end of what i want to spend the 1925 would be nice middle ground! I was honestly going to make a post about 1825mx vs 2040mx I currently have a 04 620 and want a new boat just cant choke on the 75k to replace my 04

Posts: 123 | The dual console only ruins the 2040 for me. I was looking at the Tuffy 1890 G series. That's a sweet rig but the cockpit space looks smaller then my Alumacraft Navigator 175.

Posts: 1209 | A few years ago at the launch they commented a 4 boat mx line, I'd assume 17'4, 18'4, 19'4, 20'4

Posts: 123 | I hope they don't only do the dual console. I am not sure when they are coming out with it. I would wait for that boat. Unless the 2040 come out with a single console.

Glaucus_ - 11/23/2016 7:34 PM Dean Marshall just denied this rumor, so you can pretty much put the idea to bed. Or Dean is trying to move some product in the last month of the year before the MX 1925 is released. I assume there is no chance Dean is authorized to say yes or no to a direct question about a possible new MX model release.

Posts: 123 | If they want to up the sales they would make that series in a bigger variety of sizes. Edited by muskyfishing89 11/24/2016 9:04 AM

Posts: 1209 | If it is coming it will be a 1940 agreed, if they can make it fit a 225 sho and the same front deck as 2040 and single console I'd be trading my 2015 for it. Oh and I hate factory electronics... Don't force me to buy lowrance..... Or a kicker.

I assume there is no chance Dean is authorized to say yes or no to a direct question about a possible new MX model release. He wasn't vague about it, he said, "There is NOT a MX1925 coming this January." If you want to think he's being clever about it because it's actually a 1940 or that it's arriving in February rather than January, feel free to do that to yourself. The dealer meeting was in August, and no new models were rolled out to the dealers at that time. Changes revealed for 2017 were mostly related to packaging and marketing of their existing line.

Posts: 135 | Looks like the new rig this year is a fishing-forward family boat. Solera 189...so I assume it's probably 18'9" following the way they name their other boats. Probably meant to compete with Ranger's Angler 1880MS and Reata 1850MS? Edited by Glaucus_ 12/16/2016 4:04 PM Attachments ---------------- skeeter-Solera.jpg (174KB - 474 downloads)
