Is the rear hook on these baits supposed to spin around on retrieve? Mine does and I had a few follows and one hook up so not sure if it matters but it makes it unsightly if you try to add a twister tail to it.

I don't think it is suppose to....? No different than a regular tail...the tail part should remain in-line while the blade spins.

Will it turn the fish off..? Good question, guess I don't have enough experience with this to give a good answer, if I get a tail that spins I either re-build it or throw it out. No confidence....
