Posts: 2060 Location: Appleton,WI | Question on mixing chemicals before i waste material doing this,Maybe someone has tryed it before.Heres my question will Enviro tex stick to fiberglass resin? Is it a good idea to mix these two chemicals together?? | ||

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Both are polyester resin based, I think, basically plastic. If the glass surface is sanded lightly, it should bond. FRP is the acronym for fiberglass, fiber reinforced plastic. | ||

Posts: 236 | I'm not sure if your asking to put down one and then the other on top, or if you are asking if mixing the resin from one will work with the other? I would definatly not try mixing them but if you use one over the other it will give you a bond, but not that strong. If your using it just to coat molds it will work perfect. If you are using it to seal smooth plastic baits it will work but will crack if you are throwing heavy baits. also bait will be more boyant. Slay em, Jake | ||
