| My TE is clicking when drag goes out, is this normal? My normal calcuttas do not make any noise at all. My drag also does not seem to be as smooth as the normal calcutta throughout the full range(particularly in the lower settings) and was wondering if I just have a problem with the drag?

Location: Chagrin Falls, Ohio | The drag is supposed to click on the way out. It should be as smooth or smoother than the older Calcutta. I have both, and like the new drag on my 300. What is it doing at low settings? Good fishin', Tyler Campbell |

| The reel will not let drag out easily when it is backed down to almost all the way off. Then after going all the way off it will flow easily again. Seems to be a friction point in between a light setting and nothing. Could it be a drag washer problem?
any suggestions would be appreciated

Location: Chagrin Falls, Ohio | Let me try mine and see if it does the same thing. I've had the drag backed off once or twice, but not that far from normal settings. I'll pull the rod out today and see. |
