Location: Tennessee | I'm wondering what you guys are using for clips on your planers? I use the TX-44s and have to double wrap. Is there a clip that can hold on 80-100lb braid? |

Location: Sw Pennsylvania | I've had luck with both the offshore and church locking jaw clip. Set them very snug and they don't slip for me. I run 80lb power pro on all my set ups. Setting the clip snug is the key for me. |

| If you don't like chasing boards down, you can use a snap like shown in this video.

| I just bought the new offshore yellow planer boards and we used all day Sunday had 4 of them out all running either 80 or 65lb braid and didnt double wrap any of them and didnt have any issues and water was even rough and windy worked great they have the New OR16 Clip or something like that and worked great for us
Only lost board once from line..we were also thinking you could tie seperate line or string to boat and to clip on board so it was hook to thicker line attached to boat |

| I run the church board and put the line through the back pin first and then spin the board a couple times then snap in the front clip. No more line slip |
