Location: Contrarian Island | not really what it was intended for but, the Lindy buoy holder works great. I keep my fire extuingisher in one slot, a buoy, and release tools in another....

| Highly recommend the large Lakewood Pedestal Pal...lots of pockets on the sides for all your release tools. Keeps your top 10-15 baits right under your butt... and is a great way to take a few baits and all your tools with you if you jump into someone else's boat.

| I would second the Lakewood Pedestal Pal. This was my first year with it and opening day I hooked a low thirties musky that managed to get four hooks in itself. Fishing by myself, I knew all I had to do was reach behind me and everything was right there. I bought it as a way to have some baits right by the butt seat and to be able to safely hang them where they could air dry, but really came to appreciate having the tools so close and handy. I put the release tools and two different files in the outside pockets, works great. I find myself being more diligent about touching up hooks when all I have to do is bend down, grab and start sharpening. |
