| Just saw this video of a new system named "Dobb Daddy" that makes it possible to use tube flies with your regular spinning or casting gear. Invented in Sweden for pike fishing as seen in the video, could this work for muskie fishing as well?

| Wow that video makes pike fishing look awesome. As of the last many years I don't want to catch a pike. May have to enjoy them some more seeing as 38" is rather common here in ND |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | If we had pike here like they have over there I'd be hard pressed to spend as much time fishing for muskies as I do. |

| Hi,
I make my own big flies for casting gear for pike fishing in Europe. Actually I never go fishing without some in my box... they are tied on wood and weighted with some lead. I use natural materials (also some flash) and when wet you can cast these very far.
I am no expert and have never fished for musky but I'll tell you... They are Killers for pike and top notch baits for fishing over weeds and cabbage!
If I were you I would definitely start making some because I think musky Will like them too...especially on those days when nothing else works!
The crankbait in the picture is a 9" grandma so you get the size.
Cheers,
Jeroen
